Phillip Barski is a product of the Toronto Area Hockey Programs. He played minor hockey for the Thornhill Thunderbirds, Richmond Hill Vaughan Kings, Toronto Red Wings, and the Toronto Marlboro's.
Phillip Barski began his collegiate playing career in the NCAA at Bowling Green State University in 2000, where he played one season before heading to the CIS for two seasons with the University of Calgary from 2002-04. He played 38 games for the Dinos, scoring 27 points and earning academic All-Canadian accolades.
Prior to going to Bowling Green he spent three seasons in the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League (OPJHL), playing for The Newmarket 87’s, Mississauga Chargers, Stouffville Spirit and the Milton Merchants. He played 119 games (collectively) scoring 169 points, and earning MVP honours for The Stouffville Spirit, along with being named Team Captain.
